Healing is a journey and acupuncture is but one useful tool for rebalancing disharmonies. Kristi clearly recognizes that we do not need to be ill to experience significant improvement and therefore she can meet all her patients/clients with an individual wellness regime. Her gentle "come exactly as you are" presence creates a beautiful container within oneself for change to rise. Remarkably intuitive Kristi couples compassion and empathy in a way patients feel truly heard and known. This opens the doorway of possibilities. Then using her multi faceted training and shared dialogue can assist you in that journey. There are many resources from which she will draw upon to elicit your bodies innate healing response.
  
Mrs Heatherstone has been involved with the world of health and healing beginning with her own exploration into nutrition at the age of 13. In 1980 Polarity coursework sparked her interest into hands on therapies. 1987 at the Florida Institute of Massage and Hydrotherapy Kristi completed her Certified Massage Therapist training. A successful private practice in Philadelphia followed for many years. Aware of the body-mind connection she graduated with a B.A. from Temple University in Psychology in 1996. Next was the natural progression of learning the art of acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, bringing the practice of rapport and Classical Five Element training to the psycho-spiritual center of one's being. In 1999 an acupuncture practice in Montana was built while pursuing continuing education before relocating to Ashland, Oregon, and beginning a new practice in 2007 at Morningstar Healing Medical Arts. Currently enrolled with the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism she continues to deepen the qualities which allow insight and profound healing to occur both with others and in her own work.
